MK ULTRA?

Do you think it is possible that our own government would perform mind control experiments on the general public? Are they capable of using humans as guinea pigs? The answer is yes, and yes. The United States government is capable of many unspeakable things. MK Ultra is one of those. I decided to post on this subject due to the simple fact that not many people know about MK Ultra, and what it involved.

MK Ultra was a covert operation started in the 1950's by the CIA. At the time they felt threatened by the Russians in many ways. The U.S thought that the Russians had uncovered a way to control people's minds. This covert operation, attempted to control a human being's mind. They tried many different ways to do this. The first attempt was using LSD. They would give LSD to unsuspecting individuals, and then attempt to brainwash these people. Other methods included electroshock therapy, radiation therapy, and other illicit drugs. People were literally turned into guinea pigs, in order for the CIA to experiment with the idea of mind control. Here is a video, a little long but very informative as to what Project MK Ultra entailed this video comes directly from a documentary series, named 'CIA Secrets'...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doh1X_gXyw0 . As the video explains, some people that were used in the experiments did so unwillingly. A few of the "guinea pigs" came forward years later telling stories of the horrible experiments they were a part of. Here is a video of a woman who tells her detailed and very graphic story of what she went through in being part of the CIA's MK Ultra project... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXDASDDrDKM . This was a video taken at The President's Advisory Committee on Human Radiation Experimentation in Washington D.C. in 1995. As the woman explained they were trying to her into a spy assassin, which was also a claim by many others. These alleged "spy assassins" gave testimonies as to the training they underwent while under LSD, electroshock, and other methods. Some were taught how to pick locks, others were taught how to shoot weapons, how to read maps, and how to secretly enter a building or home without being detected. Others came forward as well with similar horror stories. Some even came forward and told of how they were sometimes given headphones that would replay a message, or an objective sometimes hundreds of thousands of times. Some examples are; your family hates you, or you must kill a certain enemy. There were many subjects that were given simple task while under the influence of LSD or other hard drugs, for instance delivering a package. But after years of inhumane experimentation, hundreds of battered test subjects, and unsuccessful results, the CIA turned MK Ultra towards a different yet similar direction. Rather than using drugs, they began using radiation therapy, and electroshock therapy, in their attempt to control the human mind. See the photo on the right hand side of the top of the post, and you will see a picture of a young girl with a device hooked up to her head. In the caption it reads, "unidentified white female between the ages of 8 and 10 years old subject underwent 6 months of treatment using heavy doses of LSD, electroshock and sensory deprivation. Experiments under codename MKULTRA about early 60s. SUBJECTS MEMORY WAS ERASED AND HER BRAIN IS THAT OF A NEWBORN BABY." Unbelievable! You might think. Well it was such a big deal and became a controversy that never really grabbed the attention of mainstream media. Nevertheless it was important enough to grab the attention of the President Clinton during his term, and give a "sincere national apology." Check this out... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOutwC7OF2E . I can't believe how under publicized this entire experiment was. The government's control on the mainstream media, I am sure played a huge part in keeping most of the facts under wraps. Even in the apology Clinton was very brief and obscure as to the details regarding what he was apologizing for. There came a point to where even the government found it impossible to continue to hide this shady experiment they performed on hundreds of people.

Conspiracy theories are very interesting to me...I think the next few blog posts will deal with other conspiracy theories. I hope the readers find it as interesting as I do.
